Amendment request: In terms of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2014, as amended, Amstilinx (RF) Proprietary Limited is requesting the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) to revise the Environmental Management Programmes (EMPRs) for the Exce;lsior Wind Energy Facility and associated infrastructure, as approved previously and detailed above. The revised EMPRs are an update to the reports on the basis of further specialist work (ecological and avifaunal in particular) conducted following the requirements of the original specialist work and the relevant environmental authorisations.
Revised EMPRs available for public review and comment: The revised and updated EMPRs for all three authorisations are now made available for public review and comment, from Friday, 21st February 2020 until Sunday, 22nd March 2020. The Revised EMPRs can be downloaded from Savannah Environmental’s website: https://www.savannahsa.com/public-documents/grid-infrastructure/. The due date for written comment is no later than Monday, 23rd March 2020.
