Project details: Tronox Mineral Sands (Pty) Ltd is applying for a Prospecting Right Closure Certificate for their Prospecting Right (DME Reference: SNC30/5/1/1/2/0523PR), the so called “Northern Anomalies” which was issued to Anglo: Namakwa Sands in 2005 and transferred to Exxaro and then Tronox. All auguring holes were immediately refilled, covered and the remaining material levelled over the area. No vegetation was removed during the drilling program. No bulk sampling was conducted. The area has since been subject to prospecting by another party.
